'I have been wanting to go to a Lavender Field since Spring and finally the day has come. You can find Lavender Fields just less than an hour drive from London. The weather was nice during the weekend and we decided to visit the Hitchin Lavender Fields which was conveniently a hour’s drive from home and what a picturesque site it is!! What to wear to the lavender fields? It can be hard to decide what to wear in the morning especially when you are rushing to leave home on time. I decided to go with a retro style inspired by the 1970’s musical themes. I love the 1970s fashion which was a fun and easy-going era. It culminated some of the best elements of the 60s and exaggerated them and is now considered vintage. Orange is right on trend this season. The sheer crochet bell bottom trousers features shorts lining and is comfortable to wear. I have complemented it with a fitted white top, a bold necklace, handmade rattan crossbody bag and Gucci sunglasses for the 1970’s inspired glamorous look.
